Momentos Banamex Information

Momentos Banamex Program is a loyalty program that lets you redeem your Points* for rewards including merchandise, travel, vouchers, points transfer and even cash rebates to your Momentos Banamex credit card account.
Taxes and standard delivery costs will be included in the cost of the reward when you redeem your Points.

*Points refer to the Points earned when you make eligible purchases with a Banamex credit card that is enrolled in Momentos Banamex.
If you hold one of the following Banamex Credit Cards, you are automatically enrolled in the program.

  • Explora Banamex
  • Conquista Banamex
  • Beyond® Banamex
Your points can be frozen by Banamex or if required by law. For example, if your Card account is past-due or delinquent, your points will be frozen.

If you close your Banamex credit card account, your Points Balance will be forfeited. 
Information in your Momentos Banamex profile, such as address, email and phone number, comes from the information you provided at account opening.

Redeeming Points

Once signed on to Banamex Rewards (www.banamexrewards.com), go to Home, then on the balance points drop down menu, and then Points Balance
Based on your applicable program features for your card, Points can be redeemed for a wide range of products and experiences that include merchandise, vouchers, travel, cash rebates, credit card annual fees reversals and even donations to charity. Explore all the options available to you at the Banamex Rewards site (www.banamexrewards.com).

There are several ways you can browse and redeem Points for rewards online at www.banamexrewards.com

  • The home page presents all of the categories available to you. Simply select the type of reward you’re interested in to see what Momentos Banamex has to offer.
  • Browse by specific Points ranges, categories, or brands.
  • Use the search tool to find specific items in the collection.
  • Add any desired item to your Wishlist or Shopping Cart. From there, you can place your order.

To redeem for Annual Card Fees, select the “Annual Card Fee Category" within Cash Rewards dropdown, then simply redeem the Annual Fee applicable to your credit card account. When you redeem Points for your Annual Card Fee, your total available Points balance will be reduced, and you’ll see the credit to your eligible card account in 7 calendar days.
Points received on eligible new purchases will appear in your Points balance within 24 hours of being posted to your credit card account. Special bonus Points may take 1 to 2 additional billing cycles to appear (approximately 30-60 days).
Descubre Banamex & Explora Banamex Points will expire 3 years after the issued date. For Conquista Banamex & Beyond® Banamex Points will expire 5 years after the issued date.
Redeemed points are the points you have already used to redeem for rewards and have been subtracted from your Points Balance.

Adjusted points will appear in your Points Balance following a resolution in the rare case that you make a return, or have a problem with a reward you received, or if there was a mistake in the way your Points were calculated/awarded.

Forfeited points will no longer be available for redemption in instances where the Banamex credit Card account tied to Momentos Banamex has been closed by your request, or canceled by Banamex due to delinquency before such points were redeemed.
Your order history is located on the balance points drop down menu.

There may be more than one status that applies to your order:
  • In process: Your order has been placed.
  • Order Accepted: Your order was accepted and sent to the supplier.
  • Shipped: Your order was shipped from the supplier.
  • Cancelled: Your order has been cancelled or rejected by Momentos Banamex.
  • Returned: Your order has been returned.

Merchandise And Gift Cards

Standard delivery and handling costs are included in the total cost in Points of your reward. The total number of Points required for redemption will be displayed during the checkout process.
Merchandise rewards are sent via common carrier. For cash rebates, annual card fees and other rewards that don't need to be shipped, you will receive a redemption email confirmation.
Delivery times vary by product and supplier. Estimated time for most times to be sent out from the supplier will be 5 to 7 business days from the time you redeemed for the item and may take up to 2 weeks to reach you.

If your item does not ship within 7 days from when the order is placed, we will notify you via email.
For most redemptions, you may choose an alternate street address when completing a redemption. Please note that we may only accommodate one alternate delivery address per redemption. If requesting multiple delivery addresses, you must complete separate redemptions.
Once submitted, all redemptions are final and may not be cancelled or returned unless the item is damaged upon receipt.

If a merchandise Rewards is damaged when you received it, please call Momentos Banamex customer service: Descubre Banamex and Explora Banamex 55.1000.0432; Conquista Banamex 800.111.8443; Beyond® Banamex – national 55.2262.7490 – international 1.415.630.9020 within 5 working days to report the damage and organize a return of the merchandise reward.

 

Products and services will carry their manufacturer's warranty. We give no warranty with respect to Rewards and furthermore are not responsible for the fulfilment of warranties.

Travel

Travel includes airline tickets, hotel accommodations, car rentals, travel packages and destination activities/excursions.

The travel service provider for Momentos Banamex is Fidelity Marketing SA de CV. The travel offered by Momentos Banamex are fulfilled by Fidelity Marketing.
Log in to Banamex Rewards through Bancanet and go to the "Travel" section in the "Flights, Hotels & more" section. There you will find the options available to make reservations with your points.

All Travel Rewards are subject to availability and restrictions of the relevant travel supplier.
Travel pricing in Points is quoted through a real-time system. Pricing and availability cannot be guaranteed until the redemption is completed. Since many other agencies and airlines are pulling from the same inventory, changes to availability and price can be frequent.
No, there are no blackout dates. This means you have the freedom to travel anytime of the year – even during the holidays, as long as there is availability presented to you when you conduct your search.

For travel rewards the following rules apply:
1. There are no blackout dates.
2. Taxes, fees and surcharges are included in the number of Points required and are subject to change without notice.
3. Flights may be non-stop, direct, or involve a change of planes. They may also be one-way flights.
4. Flights do not have to be exact roundtrips. Flights into and out of different airports are permitted.
5. Airline, hotel, car rental, travel package, cruise and activity/excursion company participation may vary from market to market.
6. Travel must be completed by the expiration date indicated on the travel document.
7. Travel reward reservations cannot be separated.
8. Flight travel redemptions must be made at least 24 hours prior to departure.
Taxes, tax charges, and/or surcharges are included. Luggage fees and other incidental fees are not included.
Yes, up to 7 travelers can be added to the itinerary.

For hotel and activity reservations, they can be made after two days, for car rentals, they can be made the same day as long as the rental is more than 2 hours away. For flights, they must be done at least 24 hours before its departure.

There may be a penalty or change fee for travel reservation edits or cancellations. The travel representative will advise you of all fees for changes or cancellations when you call to edit or cancel your reservation.
You have the option of paying for part of your trip with Points and the remaining balance with your Banamex credit card.
No. Unfortunately you can't combine Frequent Flyer Miles with Points to complete a travel redemptions.
Airlines tickets will be issued as e-tickets unless paper tickets are required by the airline. For travel redemptions made online at Banamex Rewards (www.banamexrewards.com), electronic confirmation and documentation will be sent to the email address displayed at checkout. If paper tickets are required they will be sent via a traceable carrier. For other travel rewards such as travel and cruise packages, travel documents will be sent to the address provided at checkout.
